I specialize in newborn and all of the milestones, children, and family photography. I have a private studio with a wide array of props and accessories for newborns and all ages. I like to use soft light in studio that creates shadow and depth to your photos. I am located on a beautiful 15 acre property in Warrenton, Virginia for private and intimate outdoor sessions. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to lighting and I have all of the best spots scoped out on my property for different times of the day! My photos can be described as true to color, vibrant, and bold. I love color. My goal during sessions is to capture true and authentic emotion. My editing process

Just a little before and after of every step of the editing process. I spend anywhere from 5-20 minutes on an image depending on what it needs. All of my images are hand touched.

1. The top image is straight from my camera with no editing. This is called the raw file.

2. The middle image is my quick initial edit that I do in Lightroom. This lightens the image and adds some initial warmth. This is the version that my clients get in their preview galleries when they are choosing which photos they would like.

3. The bottom image is my final edit. This is taken over to Photoshop where I spend most of my time. This is where I make final edits to coloring and warmth. I also hand edit when I'm in photoshop. Hand editing includes skin touch ups and smoothing, eye pops, hair smoothing, shadow/highlight adjustments, detail sharpening, removing random objects in the scene, background smoothing and depth work, sky and sun enhancements and more. After I edit in photoshop it is basically ready to be exported and sent to my client!
